After tracking some interesting HRV profiles that correlated to published research findings, the clinic made a proposal to Callaghan/MBIE for early detection of viral infection in primary healthcare workers using the Oura and Omic.  It turned out overseas pharmaceutical companies were in more need of the NZ taxpayer funding.  Bureaucracy and innovation/achievement are poor bed-fellows, but we felt honor bound to make the offer.  With some relief, we are instead partnering up with overseas backing to progress the possibilities presented through combining consumer health monitoring data with automated personalized medicine expertise.
